Here are the dirrections:

  2. The measurment of your PS document for both cards are 7in wide by 4 in high.
  3. Use a resolution of 300dpi
  4. Place guides at 1/4 inch from the sides of your card.
  5. Place a guide at the center of your document and then 1/4 of an inch from the center on both sides
  6. Save your document in a new folder
  7. Create your cards in PS and then save your cards as jpeg and place them onto an Illustrator page.
  8. Print both cards on the same page.
  9. Place thin grey lines 1/4 of an inch on all 4 sides of your card in Illustrator. These will serve as your printing guides.

For this project you can work with a partner or go at it alone. Please decide before beginning the project, not after. You may bring in magazines from home to do your research, but please make sure they are class and school appropriate. Also do a Google search for “magazine covers” or “magazine design”. For those finishing early, there was an extra credit assignment in a previous post available. Don’t forget to turn in the Objective Sheet on Friday.
